Growing up in Afghanistan, Dr. Kassar was exposed to diverse perspectives on health and wellness from an early age. Her mother,
a midwife, was a strong influence on her career choice.
She witnessed firsthand the disparities in access to quality
healthcare and recognized the vital role that compassionate healthcare
professionals play in bridging those gaps. Dr. Kassar combines the latest medical advancements
with a deep understanding of her patients' cultural backgrounds and personal preferences.
She offers a wide range of gynecological services, including routine screenings such as pap smears and mammograms,
as well as the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions like endometriosis, uterine fibroids,
and ovarian cysts. Dr. Kassar also provides family planning and contraceptive counseling, menopause management,
and surgical interventions when necessary. She holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from University of Missouri School of Medicine. After completing her
medical degree, she pursued a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
